If you’re staying in Saint Jean de Losne or on a boat in the port this place nearby and frequented by locals including the local fire department ( note big appetites!) is an absolute must.Outstanding value and better food than most places in Saint Jean de Losne itself. 13 euros and four courses is hard to go past…… choice of two dishes for each course but get there early if you want two choices as we found that blanquette de vaux sold out pretty quickly, the tender slow cooked pork cutlets we had though were simpy delicious.Choices of meat torte or salmon pate for openers, blanquette de vaux or port cutlets with green beans or fries or both, followed by an excellent cheese platter or fromage blanc and to finish crème brulee or chocolate mousse……… love this unpretentious eatery, rural France at its best.Highly recommended

Une cuisine très soignée et savoureuse pour un prix exceptionnel. Un service chaleureux et un décor très agréable. Même les plats sont originaux et adaptés à chaque plat. Vous sentez le désir de bien faire à n'importe quel niveau et c'est amusant parce qu'il devient rare dans ce type de restaurant. Ne changez rien s'il vous plaît !

Good food, very tasty, at a very reasonable price. They were very busy at lunch, locals and boaters. Service was pretty quick and friendly, would certainly recommend to others.

What a gem. Service was polite and prompt. Meals were delicious. Price was amazing. If you want to sample menu de jour at its best then this is the place to go.
