These two major letdowns led me to feel that Legal Sea Foods deserves only one star. However, the shellfish we had was excellent, and the service was commendable, prompting me to give it a slightly higher rating of three stars. Our waiter, Roger, was fantastic—he ensured we understood the menu and offered useful suggestions. While Legal Sea Foods is a classic choice comparable to Red Lobster, I would genuinely recommend Oceanaire as a much better and more upscale alternative.
I always have an amazing experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh. This time, I opted to try something different from my usual choice. The scallops were absolutely delightful and paired perfectly with the rice pilaf. They also have a great selection of drinks. The service was outstanding, and my server was very attentive.
