always an amazing atmosphere for fast poke! recently stopped by work on my way home and was immediately greeted by julianne and sylvie. was shocked to find out that they were going through a rebrand and some of my favorite items were no longer available as the menu had changed. victor took the time to talk through the new articles and let me try their new Taro chips that replaced the Nacho chips. he sold me to the new, healthier option! they even surprised me with a gift card. love it!
The Knox restaurant always deserves a 5-star rating. We placed an online order with a few extra items added in the special notes, and the manager/staff graciously informed us of the additional charges. I really wish they would bring back the macaroni salad to the menu - it was always delicious and in high demand due to quickly selling out. I didn't get to order it often. The fresh salmon was amazing with perfectly seasoned, non-salty marinades.
Fresh, flavorful poke. The rice base is perfectly cooked and the toppings are both traditional and unique, and all ingredients taste fresh and recently prepared. The service is quick and staff are friendly. The price is high, because it is fresh fish, but the servings are plentiful and match the price. During COVID, you easily order via a kiosk (or ahead) and can pick up to go. We waited about five minutes for two poke bowls Best poke in NoVA
update 2022: I had to change my rating from 5 stars to 3. lei used to be my way to Poke Square, but they went downhill. the amount of fish is now subpar. I am now limited to the number of hits that I could put in my bowl (to now 3.) certain toppings that were free are now premium (e.g. masago.) sauces are still good. fish is still fresh. only disappointed from above. I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. From the friendly and helpful service, to being able to sample before choosing, to placing our order on the screen, to saying goodbye on the way out. It truly exceeded all expectations. They even went above and beyond by compensating us for the broken dole whip machine for our next visit. The food was also delicious! I almost forgot to mention that part! ????
I absolutely love going to Lei'd Hawaiian Poke. The fish is always fresh and their flavor combinations are mouthwatering. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they have a list of food allergy items so I can easily identify what contains gluten and what is gluten-free. They even provide gluten-free soy sauce packets. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Very flavorful!! If anything they got it with the marinated bases! So good but I wish either they gave more rice or had more varieties for toppings bc it was a little too flavorful and not enough rice to balance it out. Just didn?t seem enough for $13-$14. Still very good spicy ???? the lychee drink is also soo good!
Last ate here about a year ago before I got pregnant. Quality has changed, maybe fish wasn?t as fresh had tuna and salmon, the crab salad definitely isn?t the same as it used to be, has more Mayo. The rice was mushy, not like sushi rice. My boyfriend felt the same about the food wasn?t as good as we remembered Réservez une table maintenant
I've only been to 3 poke places in the area so far but this was hands down probably the best poke I ever ate. Including poke places in other states. It's not a big place but I liked their interior design with popping colors, it's clean and they got free filtered water. I'm definitely gonna come again.
