Charming ! Quel beau restaurant. J'ai eu de la chance de tomber sur cet endroit grâce aux avis Google. C'est vraiment une perle. Un magnifique restaurant à Tours, fréquenté par de nombreux habitants, mais aussi par des touristes bien accueillis. Le service était très sympathique et amical. Excellents vins locaux. Des plats délicieux, bien préparés. J'ai pris un burger savoureux et mon compagnon a goûté l'agneau. Nous avons beaucoup mangé en Europe et c'était l'un de mes préférés. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix avec des prix très raisonnables. Assurez-vous de réserver, nous avons vu combien de personnes ont essayé de venir sans réservation et ont été refoulées.
After a long, tiring journey all the way from England, all we wanted was a nice, relaxing meal with great food and friendly people. And we got exactly this! It was a super hot evening and I was hoping we'd get to sit outside, and we did. L'Embellie is in the heart of the old city, so there is people-watching a-plenty, and you could literally sit outside this restaurant and people-watch for hours. We were greeted by smiley, welcoming staff and quick service. The menu is full of regional delicacies, every one of them delicious. It was so good we have booked a table for on our way home, which is coincidentally my birthday. I know I won't be disappointed!

Simply fantastic meal and service. The mushroom ravioli with fois gras was spectacular, but then the scallops with risotto came out and it was even better. Wonderful cheeses were followed by a cheesecake with apples, pears and ice cream. They have a good selection of wines by the half bottle and very attentive staff. If they were open the next night, I would have returned. On top of all of this, the price is much less than one would for a comparable meal in NYC.
Very good food, portions on the smaller end but still good value, not top rated bc meat was slightly overcooked in our case and side dishes lacked the spark, still a very pleasant experience.
