L'Embellie - Réserver une table

We have been coming to France for well over thirty years and in that time experienced the highs and lows of French cuisine, which, at its worst, can be overpriced, unimaginative, of poor quality and, if you are really unlucky, served with an arrogance and rudeness that is difficult to comprehend. At the opposite end of the spectrum, there are places such as L'Embellie. Friends and family have eaten here now several times over the past three years. It's our go-to restaurant when we want a special meal.Céline and Sébastien have created a very welcoming ambience. The veranda (in summer), and the two inside rooms are a perfect environment in which to enjoy excellent food. The menus change regularly, and range in price from the very reasonable menu du jour to menus that would satisfy even the most difficult-to-please foodie. The style is modern and unfussy, but the food is beautifully presented and delicious. The steaks we had today, for example, were cooked with real attention to detail and exactly how we had asked. Cheese was outstanding in its range and complexity, and we had a super crême brûlée. The wine list is extensive and of good quality. Service is at all times attentive without ever being intrusive.Just a delightful place to relax, eat exceptional food, and be with friends.

This is now the 5th occasion we have eaten at this restaurant. Once again the food was impeccable and the service was superb. This restaurant offers a good wine list and varies its menu regularly. We have eaten dishes ranging from table de jour to a la carte and we have never had any complaints at all. We have eaten on the terrace and inside the restaurant. The chef, family and staff are all very friendly.The restaurant is in the middle of the village and offers a small car park with much more on street parking.We hope to have many more visits there

This lovely restaurant serves first class fare. I can't find a single fault! I urge you to make a special effort to eat here and you won't be disappointed. The young chef makes everything himself from local produce. Our mains were fabulous - one fish dish and a chicken and crayfish dish. The bread deserves a special mention and the desserts are a work of art! The staff are very friendly and ambience in outside area was very agreeable. This was one of the highlights of our fortnight in the Cluny area. Don't miss out on this great dining experience!

We came for dinner. The restaurant's decor is nice, and calm. The food is interesting, different 4 menus. The dishes are served beautifully. Not all was great. I didn't like the way they make the fois gras. Overall I can say that they are excellent in desserts, but less in other dish.

We read about this place through TA. We had a great menu and wines for about 50 euro's. Different menu's available from 24 till 55 euro. Quality of the food was good, service was also good. We would recommend this restaurant. Thanks
