A lovely young lady took our order of salmon asparagus quiche, salted caramel brownie, large flat white and banana smoothie. Things took a brief turn for the worse service after that was a bit slow and when the brownie arrived it was rock hard. The quiche had a tiny bit of eggshell in it (an easy enough error to make, we're all human) but was otherwise delicious and a very generous serve at a good price. I mentioned the state of the brownie to the girl who had taken our order and she very quickly and happily replaced it with a delicious fresh piece of apple and walnut bread, lightly toasted. this place looked inviting from the outside, fucked in a picturesque street next to claremont quarters. I ordered the hummus lunch with eggs, hummus and guacamole. as much as they tried to make the court revealable, eating was disappointing. the hummus had an overwhelming taste of wobble, and the guacamole was so obviously bought and unpleasant to have on the toast. the ordered icy latte was very rough in taste as if the coffee bean was not roasted enough. they are much better off to any nearby caffe.
love the inner of this place. service was great and eating was absolutely delish (mind you, portion is quite large). friends and I ordered the chickenburger and the Thai cow salad and we love him. can't get enough of her salad. it was so refreshing and I am very surprised how the filling can be. will defo is back to try other dishes.
we came for brunch and we were surprised how nice it was to eat. the touch on toast and the eier benedict were fantastic and the Hollandaise sauce was delicious. coffee was beautiful, not the best in the world, but even better than most big chain cafés in perth. will be back soon.
