We visited this cafe for dinner with friends and were a little disappointed with the food. I had the grilled salmon and vegetables with lemon and ginger sauce and my husband the chicken and fried rice. The vegetables with the salmon were very ordinary broccoli....Snow peas and carrot totally undercooked and far too crisp and hard and the sauce very bland. The fried rice with chicken also very ordinary and very little taste. All up very disappointing for the total bill for two $57 with two gin lime and bitters Would we return maybe not
My partner and I have been coming here for over a year now and I'm finally getting around to writing a review. In brief, this place has THE best Thai ever. My favourites are the sweet and sour fish and the red curry with seafood....YUMMO!!! The service is perfect. The main waitress is so lovely and friendly and knows what we love to order. The food comes out quickly, the atmosphere is relaxed and cosy both inside and when dining on the street, and we never have to wait for anything. Perfect.
The menu said these were about $17/course, so in addition to the above 2 Mains, we ordered an entre of 4 Curry Pouches to share between the 2 of us.. After we ordered the mains, the waitress asked if we wanted rice with our mains,...to which we answered Yes. Imagine trying to eat the 2 main course we ordered without rice. The bill came to about A$49.00. A bit overpriced. Disappointing average meal. If the rice was included in the price, this review would have been a bit more positive.
Have been to Lemongrass before for lunch , and their lunch meny is ok . this time i tried yellow curry beef with steamed rice . Again the food was ok for $10,95 ,but like many Asian restaurant they put the beef on top of...everything else in a bowl so the portion looks bigger what annoyed me this time was that the bowl was full of potatoes I dont like to eat potatoes with rice .

in the main beach. came down to lemongrass to eat and also get away. vincents table service and service in general was fantastic! he makes them feel like they're in a 5-star restaurant. it was amazing eating and they felt very. welcome highly recommended.
Gave Lemongrass Thai a go on Saturday night as I could not get through to the usual resteraunt. Was so glad I did, as the five dishes and two rices we bought were well above expectations. Now we have broken the ice we will be...back. Delicious fresh food.
Being away from home so booked in here for Christmas Dinner, it was the best choice we have made in a long time. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was the best Thai we have ever had and will definitely be paying...a return visit.
fast and easy to stop for a curry. the staff is very helpful and polite. there are toilets on the back. more amazingly worth what they get. highly recommended.

even if Thai food is gluten-free, I was offered 2 dishes from the menu, of which not attractive. she was disappointed.
