No fancy rolls, but totally fresh sushi and sashimi (with some grilled meats for the meat-eaters). Friendly service. Price is right. Meal starts with a shredded cabbage salad with a dressing all of us liked, followed by a cup of miso soup. My sushi/sashimi combo platter was fresh, perfectly cut, and pleasing to the eye - plus tasted delicious. I was in heaven after 2 years with no decent sushi to be found in the Lyon area. One of the people at our table had dumplings that everyone raved about. Those who had the grilled meat seemed pleased, but I can't vouch for it because my focus was on the fish. I can't wait to return. And don't forget the easy parking with a lot right across the street.

There aren't too many dining options in this area just on the outskirts of Lyon, so a little Japanese restaurant is more than welcome. The young owner couple are very enthusiastic and just getting started. The menu offers pretty standard fare both cooked and raw....Would like to see some more sake and appetizers added to the list.
