Leonardo's Deli Cafe

I'm embarrassed to admit that I lived in Millbrae for 23 years and had never had Leonardo's until now, after having moved out of state. This place is AMAZING! I ordered the Raider on sourdough and not only are the sandwiches massive, but they are so flavorful. I usually find pesto to be somewhat bland but with this sandwich, your mouth is assaulted by garlic and I'm so here for it. Delicious! This place is now an absolute staple for me whenever I come back to visit.

The best consistent deli around the peninsula. When you order a sandwich, it is filled with an amazing amount of high quality meat and fresh veg. You can't take care of your mouth. The sour batter is brilliant. The owner is as personal and you feel like an old friend. The ladies who create your food are also consistently efficient and friendly. Just a great place to get quality for your .

Love the sandwiches here you get a generous part of your choice of filling. And the staff here is great. Oh, the soup is homemade and tasty, and the OJ is made before you. Definitely worth a visit!

I had the shaddy daddy (psto chicken) on scumbags, which was pretty good. Mac Salat was good too. Friendly people behind the counter and many tables to eat in or out.

Had a Roastbeef sandwich. It was done in the house. Very delicious. They also make home prepared soups and salads. Very fresh.
