The first impression of the restaurant was quite disappointing; it felt dark, empty, and lacked a warm atmosphere. When I placed my order, the waitress, who seemed quite flustered, didn’t inform me that the potato wedges were unavailable. Instead, she brought out French fries, which are completely different. Then, the soup we ordered arrived after our entrees—it was completely cold. To top it all off, after finishing our meal, the waitress repeatedly apologized but then picked up my leftover overly salty mozzarella sticks with her bare hands and placed them in a container. I just can't believe it!
First of all, the place had a very gloomy atmosphere—dark, empty, and lacking any warmth. Secondly, when I placed my order, instead of informing me that the potato wedges were unavailable, the waitress, who seemed completely disorganized, brought out some shoestring fries instead, which were totally different! Then, the soup we ordered came out cold. To top it all off, after our meal, I had to listen to her say "I'm sorry" a thousand times while she handled my leftover salty mozzarella sticks with her bare hands and put them in a container. I just can't!
The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and all at a very affordable price. This combination is unbeatable. We tried the penne pasta with meatballs and a veal dish, both of which were very tasty. The salads were fresh and flavorful, and everything was served hot and quickly. The owner personally greeted us when we arrived and checked on us throughout the meal, which was impressive considering how busy the restaurant was. This was a truly 5-star experience.
