I know many people love Leo's, but I find it overpriced and overrated. I've come here several times and never understood the hype. The portions are chintzy for the price. A previous reviewer commented that the corned beef hash is out of a can- without a doubt! You can tell fresh corned beef hash a mile away, and this isn't it! The servers are never friendly, always in a rush, often forget things, and don't bother to check in with you. I was going to use my debit card to pay and switched to cash as there was a sign at the cash register that they're charging a fee to use a credit card (it's disguised as a cash discount to get around the law that you can't up charge for credit card use). Middlebury location. Their tagline was "At Leo's, our customers aren’t just customers; they’re family, and if there’s one thing we know, it’s how to treat family." The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, but the waitstaff truly elevated the experience. We enjoyed dining here at least once or twice a month for over 16 years. Then they abruptly closed, without any notice or preparation. They certainly know how to treat family—like the kind you never want to see again.
Love this place for breakfast! Awesome menu and food. One recent disappointment is the change in the busicuts. They were your traditional kinda with crusty outside and fluffy inside, but now they have changed to being more batter like (almost taste likea pancake batter) with an Overwhelming flavore of artificial vanilla that is extremely off putting ????. Wish they didn't changeit.
Used to come here a lot. Loved every meal. Unfortunately, the last time we came, they served us rancid food. We got food poisoning, and I took the brunt of it. Don't get too comfortable with this place. We did, and almost ended up in the hospital.We had considered this a solid 5 stars until our last visit.

Stopped in for breakfast and as always, it was delicious!! I had a Belgian waffle with fresh cut banana and whipped cream and my fiance had poached eggs over toast with home fries... delicious!! The food and service is always great here!!
Checked out this restaurant close to work today for lunch and noticed their food challenge eat the Kitchen sink and win a free t shirt. Challenge accepted. Excellent food quality and nice and efficient service.
Not a good breakfast, my Big mouth talked and talked Leo's up. The two sandwiches , three orders of hash browns, and Cheese Omelet was all around plain sad and not good.
Leo's breakfasts are phenomenal. Their pastrami Reuben in delicious and their Waffles are to die for. Their service is always gast and friendly.
