Ein verlängertes Wochenende haben wir mit einem Abend im Leos "gekrönt". Hier etwas hervorzuheben ist nicht möglich. Der Abend war perfekt! Herr Wagner hat uns nahezu alle Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen. Die einzelnen Gänge waren harmonisch ineinander übergehend. Insgesamt wurden - wenn man die Amuse Bouche mitzählt 11 Gänge serviert. Feine Aromen in gelungenen Kreationen. Karviar auf Frischkäse, Tatar vom Thunfisch mit Wildkräutern, Hummer, Filet auf zarten grünen Bohnen, Lammfilet in Kräuterkruste, zweierlei vom Reh. Wenn ich wirklich etwas kritisieren sollte würde ich sagen, dass einer der Gänge auf einem Teller angerichtet wurde, der für diesen Gang zu dunkel war und dadurch die Optik e...

The Bayerwaldhof is an excellent wellness hotel; it is not cheap, but the quality is high, so the price/performance ratio is correct. The rooms and suites are very different so there are many different prices, but what the excellent food, the huge and well-equipped wellness area and they affect many other activities and amenities are all the same What I like best is the magnificent view over a beautiful landscape with the hotel garden in the foreground, forests and landscapes in the middle and the higher mountains of the Bavarian Forest. Wir haben zum Abschluß unserer Kurzurlaubs den Freitag Abend im Leos verbracht. Die Atmosphäre ist eine gelungene Mischung aus Moderne und Natur. Viel Holz und Leder, dabei edel und gemütlich. das von uns ausgewählte 5 Gänge Menü bestand dann mit den Amuse Bouche tatsächlich aus 8 Gängen und ist eine Folge von auf sich abgestimmten Genüssen. Feine Aromen, frische Kräuter, hochwertige Zutaten perfekt in Szene gesetzt. Hier hat alles gepasst: Ambiente, Service, Geschmack, Qualität, Weinbegleitung und auch der Preis ist für diese Klasse durchaus korrekt.
