I cannot recommend this restaurant. I had the Linguine de la Mer and it was largely cold, greasy and didnt really taste of anything. It's not often I won't eat something, but I only managed a couple of mouthfuls of the dish. The waitress noticed I had not eaten it and asked why, so for once, instead of doing the usual British thing of saying 'that was lovely thanks', I told her it was not good. She did offer an alternative meal, but as my husbands had not been much better (although he did eat his),. I said no thanks. Nothing more was forthcoming and we were still charged the full bill. I have to say we left very disappointed, both with the food, and the restaurants lack of customer service....
... après des années, nous avions tellement hâte de revenir dans ce joli petit restaurant proche de la mer et joliment décoré. Nous avons visité deux fois. La première fois que nous avons eu l'une des magnifiques pizzas dont nous nous souvenions, elles n'étaient pas du tout magnifiques cette fois-ci et n'étaient pas assez cuites. Déterminés à réessayer en pensant que c'était juste la pizza qui n'était pas bonne, nous sommes revenus pour la salade encore une fois décevant. Léger sur les fruits de mer et lourd sur le sable des feuilles de salade. Le service était également très lent. Je suis vraiment désolé que nous ne reviendrons pas car je ne pense pas que la troisième fois sera chanceuse !
This is a beachside restaurant that is very friendly with pleasant decor and the inviting smell of the wood fire but we found the food was a dissapointment. Such a shame as our experience of the cuisine in this tourist region has been excellent. This was a lazy and unloved meal. The Calamares were frozen and greasy deep fried rings...very sad when you consider you are sitting next to the beach....Next was my burger which was a horror of gloupy dressing, a dry roll and liverish meat. However, the 'Tiramisu in a jar' was pleasant but lacked any thought of presentation as all the ingredients were just chucked into the jar. It's probably a good idea to stick to the simple option of the pizza.
.after 4 years we were so looking forward to coming back to this sweet little restaurant - close to the sea and beautifully decorated. We visited twice. The first time to have one of the gorgeous pizzas we remembered - which were not at all gorgeous this time and were under-cooked. Determined to try again - thinking it was just the pizza that was not good - we came back for salad - again disappointing. Light on the seafood and heavy on the sand on the salad leaves. Service too was very slow. I'm so sorry we won't be back as I don't think third time will be lucky!

This summer is my fourth summer here and without a doubt this restaurant keeps getting better!The restaurant itself has great character and lovely staff that are so charming and welcoming. The pizzas are really good as are all their meat dishes- the steak cooked on the wooden fire is just brilliant. My family and I have been countless times over our 3 to 4 week holidays year on year for lunches and dinners and Fanny and her team never fail to serve a lovely meal. I would highly recommend!
Chez Fanny est sans aucun doute l'un de nos lieux de prédilection pour le déjeuner, à la fois pour le formidable service d'accueil et aussi pour leurs délicieuses pizzas. Encore une fois, et malgré des températures record frappant Chez Fanny ou Les Galets pour être précis, nous avons savouré des pizzas superbement délicieuses... ainsi que du vin rouge frais, qui nous ont tous laissé sourire joyeusement. Hautement recommandé.
The place is nice, very close to the beach. Dinner with some friends , we had three tuna steaks with vegetables. Mine was almost uncooked while the other two were completely burned on one side...embarassing dishes like that should not even go out from the kitchen!I'm an talian guy who loves food and it really felt like a bad surprise. Never had such exeprience before. Maybe it was just our case but...please
C'est un petit restaurant incroyable, avec vue sur la mer près de la Plage du Débarquement. J'ai apprécié deux repas là-bas, la serveuse était très sympathique et serviable. C'est idéal pour les familles, les tables sont bien espacées. Les pizzas sont excellentes et il y a un grand choix... Des prix très raisonnables pour le sud de la France. Nous reviendrons.

Nous avons visité ce restaurant plusieurs fois pendant nos vacances. La nourriture est fraîche et vraiment bien préparée. L'emplacement est fantastique et nous avons toujours reçu un service de qualité. Bien que l'endroit puisse être fréquenté, jamais nous n'avons été pressés et le personnel a fait un réel effort.
One of the busier restaurants on the beach but well organised and with good service. Has probably the widest choice of the beach restaurants and also a great pizza take-away. Nice for lunch and dinner also known as Chez Fanny.
