"Enjoyed lunch here whilst staying in the area. Not the cheapest of restaurants but the quality of food and surroundings was excellent. Would certainly eat there again and recommend it to others. We had the 34 euros menu which was a bit too much for lunch."

Stayed at the hotel for one night on our way to my holiday home in St Jean de Monts. The evening meal was part of our offer, we thought we would have been offered the cheap meal, but no we were given the 36 Euro. A great choice my starter scallops in a cheese sauce, my husband had pate. Then we has sorbet with apple calvados, then my main meal was scallops and prawns my husband had sweetbreads and kidneys, We had a cheese board with all the local cheeses and then a cream brûlée and a lemon torte. Followed by coffee petit fours. Service was good and helpful staff. I was allowed to take my dog in the restaurant (he was very well behaved and sat under the table. Would stay in this hotel again because the meal was excellent.

Les Airelles is in a good pit stop location - Neufchatel en Bray, at a crossroads where you can continue on to Calais or northeast towards Amiens and Brussels. We did a half board arrangement, and our dinner was the four-course 36 euro menu. A bit much for us for an evening meal, but it was delicious. Wish I could say that our room was on an equal footing, but no. We'd stayed here before, and I don't remember the bathroom being so dismal. No heat, no shower curtain, and fixtures that all need a makeover. Only two or so on-site parking spots, so be prepared to park on the (quiet) street. 5 stars for the restaurant, only three for the room.

The food here is very typically French: lots of it and some interesting flavour combinations. We chose the 34 euro menu with melon soup with duck, salmon and local cheese to start. I then had the steak which was a pretty tough cut so couldn't manage it all. It was not "a point" but the accompaniments were lovely. Then a cheese course, then dessert. It was probably way too much! Good value for money on a lovely terrace amongst the flowers, and both child and dog friendly.
