This is the example of a bar restaurant worse than a bet (though we come to Brittany to escape this kind of people). We come to have a drink with a child, the tens of restaurants are strictly empty despite the peak time. We are meant by making the grimace we have to stay at the counter (with a child, lol)!. then seeing that we are going to do it with, the bartender tells us that if it is not right for us, there are two bars nearby (but we are already in a bar according to the inscription). So here we're totally driven out of an empty restaurant bar. And the worst thing that the old manager doesn't even have, enough common sense to realize that an empty resto bar doesn't attract anyone. Good...
After a day-trip along the coast we needed a break and were impressed.First by friendly staff who managed to switch to English immediately.Then by the view from the terrace and a well-sorted menu.And eventually by the kitchen that makes some incredibly good buckwheat crepes and cakes.This place and its people are so down-to-earth that you can enjoy many hours and a lovely sunset there.
C'est un restaurant bar... des tables disponibles... et une heure idéale pour prendre une collation en terrasse. Nous ne sommes pas dans une zone touristique et en général, les touristes ne viennent pas manger à 15h15. Nous avons été repoussés gentiment mais fermement en nous indiquant d'aller manger ailleurs... quel accueil... et quelle déception pour des Bretons désireux de faire
We find it hard to recommand this, because we would like to have it to ourselves. A restaurant with a wonderful view, good food and a great patron who conducts a swift and sweet crew serving the right beer, the fine platters of french fries, mussels and seafood and the occasional salad. Wish we could be there tonight.
We regret the atmosphere of the old boss, the simplicity and the generous portions she served. lobsters are now too cooked, tiny mussels, sauce has gone (!) and very medium service. Apparment is better not to ask for a drink at the wrong time. a pity so that service and reception is not at the height of the place.
family dinner after the site visit, in a boat with a superb view of the island of nichtarguer. fast service and with a smile. mussels and lobsters are small but good and in quantity. The curry sauce is extra! and the sweet pancakes and the stuffing too! I don't understand the latest opinions.
