My son, my two daughters and I were treated very badly in this restaurant. As tourists from Brazil, we are used to call a waiter, our hand to state, we are ready to order. Later I understood that this is not usual in Toulouse, which is okay. However, this is not an excuse for disregarding customers who are clearly tourists, in one of the most touristic areas in Toulouse! In our case, it was even bad when we were clearly annoyed to be one of the worst days of our lives as my husband came by. We arrived at the restaurant at 3:00, after we had spent the whole morning at the hospital and no lunch was served, which is understandable. After I called the waiter up with my hand, a waiter came. I asked for a waffle, and he said rudely, would you like to share? I'm just gonna bring ONE cutlery. I was very surprised, but didn't say anything when we didn't want to share at all. It was bad when I wanted to call the waiter back to pay the bill. After lifting my hand more than once to ask for the bill, a few waiters at the door just sarcastically wavy back, laughed and gone! This is a place where I return NIE. They are even disrespectful for someone of my age (60 years old).
Where the locals gather for a morning coffee or beer and situated in the centre of bustling attractive Lavaur. Menus of the day are good value and provide good traditional French cuisine. Open all day. Recently renovated. Also a good meeting point if visiting the town or the large market on a Saturday morning when there are loads of people.
