accustomed to bayonet fetes, traditional Sunday meals, we had already eaten several times in this restaurant in the year. the quality of the dishes is always at the rendezvous, even during the bayonne feasts with a very good menu from the entrance to the dessert, in short that of the good... except that .arrivés at 1:00 (on the advice of the boss at the 1st service not to wait too long ); the entrance arrives at the end of 1h30.... the dish, 2h00 later (yes you counted well, we're already at 3h30 at the table) and finally dessert and coffee for a record time never equaled 4h00 at the table (we ate at the parties every Sunday for years. ..), children and grandparents have been very patient, I will be gone long before. Too bad it was so good.
arrived early the service was relatively fast and the waiter of a kindness and a rare professionalism in a tourist city, the very good meal a small flat on the entrance whose title "coast egg soft vegetable and toasted tartine" made dream but it was just a flat egg covered with a velvety of vegetable and a little crust... was a little banal.. but still bravo to this server who found himself managing 50 covers while keeping the smile!
I'm eating with a dear friend for the ham fair, a menu at 22€ was offered, I took an entrance (salade bayonnaise) a dish (carré de pig). cooking was missed and especially the meat was filled with fat!! Let's talk about the staff, the idle learning no reflex, drop the covers by pulling out. Restaurant has a good time!I don't recommend it if you're looking for quality!
