We live in Arles sur Tech most of the year, and we often order take-out pizza, always the provençale with extra garlic, from the Caves Mouragues. Is it Italian? No, it's not, but it's quite good for what it is. (We live in Rome part of the year, so we know pizza.) Lately, we've had dinner a few times at Caves Mouragues, and we must say that it's really quite good. No pretenses, served in a characterful, quite old-fashioned setting. Because we like escargots and oysters and scallops, we usually order the most expensive menu at €24.50, but there are just as generous for less: a lunch menu at €13.50 and four other menus at €16.50. It's all good home cooking, served in very copious portions. I'm a big eater, and I have difficulty finishing a meal at Caves Mouragues. Lovely terrace in fine weather. One thing: If you go in summer, or indeed at any time when you hit a large group or when most or all of the tables are taken, you're going to wait to be served, sometimes far too long. You'll have a far better experience at Caves Mouragues off-season or on any day, even in summer, when it's not so full. Frédérique is a charming hostess, while her husband Patrice slaves away in the minuscule kitchen.

We went here at the beginning of September this year when we were staying close to Arles sur Tech in a group of 4 adults and 3 children under the age of 4. We arrived in the pouring rain and opted to sit out under the canopies in the outside area. Slightly less chaotic we thought with young children. It wasn't, however the restaurant and and waitress were not phased by the children running riot and were very hospitable. The menu was huge. I had oysters followed by a pizza, both were delicious. Our friends had duck confit with lyonnaise potatoes, this I think was good, maybe not fantastic. The kids had food from the children's menu. I cannot remember what else we had.We totally enjoyed our time here and the good service. Thank you.

From the outside this place looks, as it it is named, like a small pizzeria , but it has ample seating inside and in the garden, where we enjoyed our meal. The young lass serving was patient, hard working and added to our experience with her chirpy demeanour. Two of us had a three course evening meal for about 18 euros while the other two had pizzas and puddings. With carafes of wine and beer it came to less than 80 euros. Bargain in a great setting, somewhere I would recommend you visit if in the area.

We live in the area .I would eat here for simple , unexciting food in agreeable garden surroundings. Basically it does pizzas, and very well. The rest of the menu is uninspired and predictable, and the result dull, overlooked and dull dishes.
