Les Chenes Verts

It is wonderful to see that Les Chenes Vertes continues to be the best restaurant in the region under the new owner and Chef. The service is impeccable and discreet, yet warm, thanks to Monsieur William. The new chef has managed to retain the best food traditions of Monsieur Bajade and introduce some fabulous innovations of his own. We have been there thrice since the summer including the Christmas lunch and have been delighted every time. Well worth a visit and a drive!!

I used to go to this place quite a lot in the 90s and always found the food to be very good but in those days I thought it was too pretentious for my tastes. A group of us went there for dinner last night and everything was absolutely superb. The food was excellent and the service perfect , and I now find the ambiance much more agreeable than before. The Brouillard de Truffes was as good as it gets.

It is a nice restaurant surrounded by a lot of trees. Hence the name. The Chefs menu is giving value for money. A la carte is a different costly other story. The staff is helpful and courteous as one may expect in a traditional Michelin star location. Go there to celebrate and try the wines from the Provence. The,portions are quite big so don't eat too much before going to this nice place

Great menu and a professional and good service! Although the inside of the restaurant is slightly old fashioned, the atmosphere inside is cosy. We were positively surprised about the delicious courses in the menu. Very helpful and friendly service. Even for our children they had a great children's menu! Very recommended.

We had a great calm evening on the small terrace of this restaurant with delicous food! Hot foie gras for the starter was incredibly well cooked and our lamb ribs with truffles were gastronomic pleasure as well.
