We went here as a family, my Dad is hard to please when it comes to dining out, and I was a little bit apprehensive. However I needn't have worried, for starter he had the soup, more than one bowl of it. For his main...he had the usual steak and chips, his steak was exactly as he wanted it. When we were leaving we met the chef at the bar and he was very friendly and talkative. The waitress was not as friendly or attentive but she was busy and I think she may have been worried about serving an English family in case none of us spoke French, I do and I like to practise it as often as I can, even if it is not perfect. We were all happy with our meal and my Dad had no complaints either.

Nous avons fait une visite nostalgique à Entrecasteaux pour rendre visite à de vieilles lettres gravées. Après un long trajet en voiture, nous avions juste besoin de quelque chose pour tenir debout. La ville semblait assez calme, mais c'était deux semaines en octobre. Ce petit restaurant a été une surprise non seulement en tant que bar, avec quelques tables, mais à l'arrière se trouvait un restaurant très joliment conçu. Nous avons pris simplement le menu du jour, qui était absolument délicieux et le vin maison très agréable. Ne les laissez pas juste passer devant la fenêtre, c'est vraiment un bel endroit!
Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité de la nourriture dans ce restaurant d'hôtel. Nous nous sommes assis dehors sur la terrasse et la jeune fille qui nous a servis était très sympathique. Nous pouvons parler un peu français, mais elle était si gentille et a essayé de dire quelques mots en anglais pour nous. Nous avons choisi l'un des 3 menus et avons vraiment apprécié tous les plats. La truite que j'avais commandée était sans arête et très fraîche, et le steak de mon compagnon était excellent. Dans l'ensemble, nous recommanderions ce magnifique restaurant. Après avoir été refoulés de l'auberge du fel, nous avons été élevés tard et sans réservation. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons pris un bon repas et le personnel était gentil. J’ai coché la case accessibilité en fauteuil roulant, que je ne recherchais pas spécifiquement. à l'époque, mais je ne pense pas qu'il y avait de marches et il y avait des toilettes pour handicapés au rez-de-chaussée, dans lesquelles on pouvait installer un fauteuil roulant, mais je ne pense pas qu'il y ait des poignées ou un siège plus haut.
We made a nostalgic flying visit to Entraygues to visit old stamping grounds. We just needed some sustenance after a long car trip. Town seemed quite quiet but it was two weeks into October. This little restaurant was quite a surprise not just a bar with a few tables but to the rear was very attractively laid out restaurant. We just had the middle menu du jour which was absolutely delightful and the vin maison very pleasant. Don't be put off by just peering through the window it really is a nice little place!
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food at this hotel restaurant. We sat outside on the terrace and young girl who served us was very friendly. We can speak some french, but she was so nice and tried to say some words in english to us. We choose one of the 3 course menus and we really enjoyed all the courses. The trout I ordered was boned and very fresh and my husband's steak was excellent. Overall we would recommend this nice restaurant.
Ce restaurant est situé dans l'hôtel Deux Vallées au rez-de-chaussée, mais vous n'avez pas besoin d'être une chambre de l'hôtel pour manger au restaurant. Il y a aussi un balcon à l'arrière où vous pouvez vous asseoir à l'extérieur. La nourriture... et le vin (produit localement) est très bon et le personnel est sympathique et accueillant.
