Nous avons passé un dîner très agréable ici dans une salle historique donnant sur un lac. La grande cheminée à côté de moi était super. Je comprends qu'il s'agit d'un établissement vieux de 600 ans qui servait autrefois de cuisine à la forge locale. Le bâtiment respire l'histoire et est évidemment bien pensé par les locaux. Si vous souhaitez visiter pendant un week-end, je vous suggère de réserver à l'avance. C'était agréable de voir le menu proposant un choix à la carte relativement limité ainsi que trois menus au prix de 35 euros (Menu Gourmand) ou les plus modestes 30 et 25 euros. I was looking forward to visit this restaurant. Several members of my family visited it and praised it. What a disappointment!!!! We arrived for lunch, the place was fairly full with what seemed to be all the locals from around who are over 70 years old. We had to wait about 40 mins before we got the menu after we asked for it. Service was total chaos. Waiters are clearly not trained or don 't have the know how. They serve amuse-bouche , they keep them on a tray and collect some of the finished ones on the same tray... This is a big NO NO. Food was just okay. Some of us took the terrine. The terrine is brought to the table and left there for people to serve themselves. At some stage, a waite...

We were the first guests that evening and the owner cook and the hostess came to welcome and chat with us. We talked about our visit to broceliande and how could it be otherwise the heat that day. The owner showed us the decor in the bar which was made by a local artist. Really interesting. The cook had prepared a wild boar pie which we chose as an entree. We were given two plates, the tureen and homemade pickles. The main course was scallops with a sauce of morels. In one word: delicious. Add to that the beautiful setting, the nice service and the beautiful weather... Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Brittany. Highly recommended!

Lovely dining room,makes you feel as if your in a light and airy hunting lodge. With a wood burning fire,on which they cook some of the steaks and brochettes on.The staff are very efficient, but in a slightly casual way.The food is all freshly prepared,and of excellent quality. They are known for their terrine which you help yourself to at the table,with a jar of onion marmalade.The oysters are large and of the finest quality. I would also recommend the fillet steak,again highesr quality and double the size of other restaurants,also the duck brest.All togther a truly lovely restaurant.
