Overwhelmed by a sudden summer nostalgia, I finally take the time, after this successful return to school, to give an opinion, or rather a tribute, in honor of our various stays at Granges Hautes, the last one was in August of This year. Just thinking about it is already happiness. If paradise needed a model, it would have to draw strong inspiration from the Granges Hautes. When you arrive, you are greeted by two wonderful angels who never stop taking care of you: Anouk and Gilles. Anouk, an outstanding cook who will delight you during the convivial “table d'hôtes” evenings, and Gilles, the talented architect of this place: let your gaze be on the gîtes, on the farmhouse, on the dovecote, on...
A week in paradise surrounded by nature! As soon as you take the small path leading to Les Granges Hautes, calm and serenity settle in. Warmly welcomed by Gilles, and the tour of the property led by Anouk, place for a few completely disconnected days in a dream house. The calm around is striking! The romantic/countryside decoration invites you to cozy evenings and nights. The huge and magnificent garden and the superb swimming pool are an ideal refuge for us after a day of visiting the surroundings (A multitude of activities and magical places to discover within a 25-minute drive). Les Granges Hautes is a little corner of paradise in Périgord. The property is magnificent. The rooms are charming and comfortable. Breakfasts and dinners are a treat for the taste buds. And Anouk and Gilles are great: welcoming, friendly, very caring for their guests, and always good advice for places and/or good restaurants to discover. Un petit coin de paradis dont nous repartons les étoiles dans les yeux ! L'accueil est chaleureux dans un cadre exceptionnel. Une très belle salle décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Une cuisine savoureuse et un petit-déjeuner délicieux. Une adresse à garder jalousement... mais que nous partagerons avec plaisir car elle mérite vraiment un détour... I had a very pleasant stay in a true haven of peace. I also appreciated the kindness of Anouk and Gilles, who receive their guests warmly. The quality of the table d'hôtes is also worth highlighting. The dishes are delicious and fine. Finally, the swimming pool is anything but a small pool, which is not the case everywhere. Very warm welcome at Les Granges Hautes, Anouk and Gilles are caring, attentive and generous hosts, they think of everything and for everyone (our little boy was very spoiled !
