Les Madeleines Patisserie

Saw an episode of The Best Thing I Ever Ate where they highlighted Les Madeleines' Kouign Amann. The next day I flew to Salt Lake City for business. Had some time before my first meeting and searched out Les Madeleines. I knew it was going to be special when I saw a sign on the counter saying if you haven't preordered your Kouign Amann, there was a limit of 6. They didn't disappoint. I've had a few other Kouign Amann since but this is the best.

Meyer Lemon Tart. Although the items we wanted were sold out, the recommended tart and eclair were excellent. No doubt they are made fresh with quality ingredients. Definitely worthy of a return visit to further explore the menu!

One of my favorite bakery/cafe to get a quick breakfast. Their chai tea is perfectly blended. Not too sweet and not too strong. The best apple tart in town !

Had to get their Kouign Amaanyep, the best in town. We ordered the Rosemary cookie and Lemon tartveeeerrry good! I must admit, we would always show

It's probably not all about the kouing aman but that alone is worth the entrance fee.
