This is Gianluca from Sicily, I love almost every kind of food, from Mexico to China : Here below my personal review (score from 0 to 5 where 5 is the best : Position 3 (not a beautiful part of the town but not too far from public transports Price 2 Kindness and professionality 5 Cleaning 4 (don't seat next to the raclette otherwise you'll smell like that for days : Food choice 2 (many plates but the ingredients are always the same Food quality 4 Credit card: accepted Reservation: strongly suggested in advance We took the menu that costs 30 euro each if you're a couple and it's the only choice if you wanna try both raclette and fondue. You have 4 dishes, all very good, you eat a lot even if...

Away from the tourist areas, open on Sunday, casual, popular with the young er) crowd. 1960's rec room meets Swiss chalet interior but pleasant enough. One server handles the entire room, and although, not full, it was busy enough. She was calm, attentive and smiling. People go there for cheese! We did and were not disappointed. Tartiflettes, fondues and raclettes take centre stage, all modestly priced. The raclette is a good deal, all you can eat charcuterie and potatoes plus, the cheese. Adequate selection of red and white wines, by the pot, glass and bottle. Wine prices ensure a very affordable dinner. We didn't have dessert but we're happy to accept the complimentary digestif! Not open in...

I've lived in Lyon for about a year and many of my friends commented about this place, I never got the chance of coming here while living in the city and after some years when I came to visit Lyon this place got stuck in my head and I've decided to finally come over. Personally I liked it a lot, I love raclettes and cheese fondues so I liked the place very much. I've had a few better fondues in Switzerland, but for sure this one was among the top 5. Good food for a decent price and even though Lyon is an amazing city when it comes to food this place is definitely worth a visit. Only downside is that I came here with my girlfriend and she truly hates food with lots of cheese in it, so for her...

Go her if you want to eat cheese/mountain food. Take the all-you-can-eat Raclette (melted cheese on potatoes pickles dried meat salad). The meat (various French dried sausages etc) is really much too much for one person. And you will probably not finish all potatoes either. You get a new serving of melted cheese on your dish each time you've finished a portion. The atmosphere is very nice, a bit of a chalet decoration, plenty of young people eat here in small groups. It's not in the centre of the old town, but just two metro stops away in a less touristic neighbourhood of the centre.

I love melted cheese and a few years ago some friends introduced me to raclette well I love it. I also like fondue. So when I visited my friends in Lyon recently they took me to Les Marmottes hurray! we had a feast if you are a group of 8 or more you can do their set menu so it started with a salad and tartiflette (traditional Savoy dish made with potatoes and cheese); then came the cheese fondue, then the raclette and then dessert we ate like kings! Can't wait to go there again.

The decoration is rustic, like an alpine skiing hut; the greeting warm and friendly; and the service excellent. This is not fine dining or gourmet cuisine; just wonderful cheese comfort food with quality ingredients and warm friendly service. Excellent value for money with inexpensive wine. Raclette for two and a bottle of Brouilly for under 60 euro. Recommended for cheese lovers.

Such a different, curious spot where to spend a very relaxing and warm dinner. The menu options are convenient and you will eat A LOT. Trust you will not want another bite of cheese for a long time. Definitely a place to check out (especially in the winter time)! [hidden link]

Excellent restaurant, mais si vous partez en char, informez-vous avant. C'est un petit restaurant et pas assez d'espace.
