I often read other reviews before writing mine to try to see why many can be both extremely good or poor. We were a group of 6 and had a really superb lunch in all respects. We booked the day before for 2pm and when the weather seemed to be poor made sure that morning we had a table reserved inside. At 2pm we find service is normally very good as we have avoided the 1pm rush which we find is often manic in all mountain restaurants. Today was excellent here. Les vues sont bonnes mais ne vous attendez pas à un endroit où vous avez de la bonne nourriture ou un service du tout. J'ai attendu une éternité pour obtenir le menu, puis j'ai essayé de commander là où le personnel faisait semblant de ne pas nous voir ou certains se contentaient de livrer la commande (et de ne pas prendre de commande),... puis j'ai attendu une éternité pour obtenir la facture. On ne s'attend à aucune valeur dans cet endroit, situé en haut de la montagne entre Méribel et Courchevel. Mais on s'attend au service et c'était le pire service que nous ayons jamais vécu dans n'importe quel restaurant au monde ! Aucune exagération ! Les menus ont mis 35 minutes à arriver (ils n'en avaient pas assez), ils ont mal pris la commande des boissons, puis les deux premiers plats des quatre que nous avions commandés sont arrivés 90 minutes après notre arrivée, le troisième est venu 5 minutes après, et le dernier plat est arrivé à manger 15 minutes plus tard, donc tout le repas a duré 2 heures (pour un coursier) et le personnel était indifférent au mauvais service. Les Pierres Plates is located high above Montaret and Courchevel. It has great views to south. A dinner at the balcony in nice weather is a musta - just book the table in advance.The menu is varied and has plentifull of choices. We had entrecote, Savoinese salad and hamburger (mind that medium=>medium- so if you dont like really red meat, it is worth to order well done). Wine selection is medicore.And the bad part is that ciew costs - ,lunch prices start at >20€ and wines >35€. In average a lunch will cost you close to 50€.
J'ai vécu à Méribel pendant 30 ans et je n'arrête jamais car les prix sont inouïs (oui, je comprends l'économie de l'industrie du ski), le service est au-delà du terrible, cela frôle vraiment le simple impoli pour en fait être impoli car ils aiment l'être. Nous n'avons pris que trois en-cas, un thé, un Perrier et un chocolat chaud (30,20€), donc je ne peux pas juger la nourriture, mais la dernière fois que j'étais ici, c'était terrible. S'il vous plaît, allez ailleurs.

Arrêté pour un verre rapide. Comme d'autres l'ont fait remarquer, nous avons monté 3 étages pour que 4 membres du personnel valsent d'avant en arrière en nous ignorant alors qu'ils ne servaient clairement pas les autres. Quand ils ont finalement pris une commande, ils étaient très grincheux. Je n'y retournerais pas.
very pretty terrace on 270 degree, a magnificent view at 2700m altitude. The meal is copyy and good but stay a little expensive even for meribel.
