we were invited to a wine tasting evening in les roches and were never to one, we decided to go. we arrived and were greeted by the host and owner. the main room was welcoming with a huge log burner, which in the corner with tables and chairs for approx. 30 people ticked. there were 6 weine to taste, accompanied by various dips to compose any wine. a passionate moderator spoke of all aspekten des weinbaus, the choice, the search for and of course how to taste it. the evening was a great success of my opinion and we will definitely go back when they propose another. excellent food, atmosphere and hospitality. that is a restaurator we will visit again.
Très agréables chambres d’hôtes tenues par un couple charmant qui saura tout à fait vous faire sentir à l’aise à la fois dans l’établissement mais aussi dans la région qu’ils connaissent bien. Le petit dej est généreux et parfait pour s’attaquer aux belles randonnées qui se trouvent à proximité. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de goûter au dîner qui avaient toutefois l’air très appétissants. Autre bon point, la situation géographique de Saint-Savin permet de rejoindre facilement pas mal de points d’intérêts de la région (Gavarnie, Lac de Gaube, Val d’Azun… . Choisissez votre vallée. We eat at Les Roches regularly and it is ALWAYS good! A warm welcome and the food is great. If you think 8 prawns is too little, you really should go to a Wokrestaurant with all you can eat and never visit a good restaurant… The spot next to the Sioule river is stunning. In short, Les Roches is an absolute must!
