Les Rossignols - Réserver une table

We are regulars at Rossignols, both by road and river (there is a pontoon for sailing visitors to moor a boat). Service is perfectly fine and the proprietor (Alex) a really nice and friendly guy. The salad with goat's cheese can be specifically recommended, or one can visit for a coffee or ice cream or a bowl of frites, for that matter. The situation on a sunny Brittany day is a pleasure in itself.

Parked the far side of Taden then walked along the Rance riverbank to Dinan. Stopped here for a Croque Madame, frites and a biere. Asked the English server about the Tourist train, and she also told us about the free bus up to Dinan which we used a few days later. Route from the Quay to the town is up a very steep cobbled street so the free bus was brilliant in view of my arthritic knees.

This is a little gem of a restaurant serving very good food at reasonable prices. The staff were extremely helpful to us deciding where to go in Dinan and spoke very good English. We eat entecote steak, which just melted in your mouth. They do stop serving food at 6.00pm so really an excleent place for lunch or early evening meal.

We stayed here September 2020 and we were totally disgusted with the overall cleanliness we found it very dirty and neglected, rodent droppings in the fridge and most of the kitchen cupboards and the all-over condition of the property substandard. Lucky to get one sta

Awful prices and poor/rude service We ordered icecream at 6 euros for two very small scoops The staff were abrupt. We wondered across the garden and were shouted at for being in the wrong place...
