This gem has been around since the mid 80s and has gone through a lot. As you walk in, take the time to read the many news articles that adorn the wall to know more about their history. The restaurant only seats about 28 people. I can see that they used a couple of tables for their makeshift delivery prep area.I must confess that I've never been to New Orleans, but it is definitely on my bucket list of places to go. Les Sisters' Southern Kitchen is a little bit of New Orleans in Chatsworth. Tucked in between a barber shop and massage parlor, the unassuming restaurant is a beacon for those searching for a little slice of heaven.Short on time, we opted to get two of their most famous dishes...fried chicken and shrimp etouffee. Sides include black eyed peas and rice and candied yams. The etouffee has plenty of shrimps in every bite. And the dish can feed two people. The fried chicken can come regular or Cajun. I got half of each flavor. Juicy, flavorful and goes great with the yellow peppers.A bit pricey but we'll worth it!Ambiance 9/10Cleanliness 8/10Service 10/10Bathrooms 8/10Value 8/10Will I Return?
