Saturday evening 10/28, dinner at the gourmet restaurant Les Sources de Fontbelle for the 2nd time (5 guests). The first time we were really enchanted by the setting, the service, the aperitif on the terrace and the chef 's proposal. On the other hand, this 2nd experience is very far from what I hoped to be able to experience again. Already from the aperitif we started on a bad basis with a little discriminatory side. Excellent restaurant gastronomique. Le décor est superbe, très moderne et l'éclairage est sublime. La nourriture, que dire... Les plats sont tous meilleurs les uns que les autres, et les aliments que je n'aime généralement pas semblent tout simplement exquis ici. La présentation est sobre mais vraiment efficace. Le service est excellent. Les chaises tirées, les verres servis, les explications fascinantes... Le seul problème que je soulignerai est que l'eau est payante, ce qui semble étrange car l'eau est une denrée essentielle qui ne devrait pas être tarifée. The establishment hosts a gourmet brasserie and gourmet restaurant. The welcome was a little hesitant the evening we came. Electrical devices charging on tables, 1 or 2 empty glasses lying on the coffee tables in the entrance and a very basic cloakroom. This could be trivial if it were the brasserie, but it is much less so for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Fortunately the room service and of course the cuisine are on a whole new level. Bistro part... Very amateurish but very good and very original. Warm welcome and attentive service. Sorry not to have regional wines, Bordeaux is an hour and something away. No choice, the few wines on the list are foreign or from the South... Special Halloween evening. Nice special decor, but not enough light to really appreciate it and the dishes. Please update the wine list. You have lots of very good little castles in Bordeaux 1 hour from home. Help them survive! THANKS
I have come to eat at this restaurant at the sources several times. Never disappointed by the quality of the chef's cuisine! The service is more or less professional, depending on who is assigned to us, but friendly. The decoration and calm is a real plus! Invité à déjeuner par mon père dans ce restaurant, quel moment divin. Une étoile bien méritée, la deuxième ne devrait pas tarder non plus étant donné la précision et l'intelligence derrière chaque plat.
