This is a Michelin rated restaurant located on the ground floor of Hotel du Lac in Guebwiller. You have to reserve a table if you want to have lunch/dinner here. The waiters are really occupied so be patient. The selection of foods reflect to the French cuisine, but the portions are not so big. They have a big selection from French wines I could recommend to have a wine tasting combined with cheese tasting!
The restaurant is located at a little lake, in a very quiet place, away from the city noises. You both have the possibility to sit outside, but the restaurant offers nice places inside the building as well. It's not easy to find english speaking waiter/waitress there : The place is really popular at local people too, you need to reserve the place to make sure to get a free table.
Très bonne expérience gustative. Des produits frais et de qualité. Les plats sont savoureux, aussi beaux que bons. Le mélange de saveurs en bouche est incroyable. Le dessert était exquis. Restaurant de type bistronomique, avec un prix un peu élevé pour nous mais justifié par la qualité des produits et le professionnalisme ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel.
If you book a room with TUI in hotel Les Rives, you get a dinner reservation in the restaurant Les Terrasses. The infrastructure is OK, but the quality of the food for the menu of the day as TUI guest is very poor. Maybe it is better if you eat à la carte... Réservez une table maintenant
