Service was brisk and cold. We entered the restaurant and after standing a while were invited to sit outside in a plastic covered area as we hadn 't booked. I wondered why there were fleece throws over every chair and it soon become evident why these were provided, it was cold. However it is hard to book when you don 't know when you will arrive after along journey from the south of France. We were handed the menus and left to it. No explanation of specials or asked if we 'd like drinks. I ordered duck breast and asked how it came. I was told it comes 2 ways and no other which is difficult to understand given that if the customer wants the duck well done it just gets cooked a bit longer, no?...
Recommended by the landlord where we were staying, we gave this a shot! The restaurant is really well located great views over the beach, a cosy bar area and a friendly welcome! But that's where it stopped! We were handed the menu fairly quickly, but it took them ages to take our drinks order while it was boiling hot, we tried to take their attention, but they just ignored us! We finally had our drinks and had our food ordered! Food was ok, but nothing special! The fries were not nice). I appreciate that it was busy, but we were the first to order and got our meals a lot later than other guests. And it took again ages to get our bill! The positive note was the minigolf, which was good fun!
We discovered this place when looking for somewhere to eat before boarding an overnight ferry at Caen. We went in and they made room for us immediately in a part of the restaurant they hadn 't yet opened that evening, the service was good and very friendly and the food (we had all fish and seafood, obviously) was very well prepared. This is now our go-to place to eat before the ferry, it 's only about 15 minutes from the Caen ferry port, the prices are reasonable (not cheap, not expensive) and it 's a great last French meal before returning to Blighty!
Meilleure vue de la région ! Nous nous sommes juste arrêtés pour boire un verre en terrasse et nous avons finalement passé une agréable soirée près de la cheminée. Le personnel était vraiment gentil et attentionné. Nous avons pris la salade bergère et les moules, et les portions étaient généreuses et délicieuses. Je ne comprends pas les critiques négatives, la direction a clairement apporté des changements. Merci encore pour ce moment si agréable !

Très bon menu. Personnel sympathique. Ouvert le dimanche soir. À moins de 15 minutes du ferry. Toutes les raisons pour lesquelles nous y sommes allés. Si vous avez faim, c'est probablement une excellente option, mais je n'avais pas faim et ils ont tellement surcuit ma brochette de gambas que je n'ai pas pu en extraire la chair. En revanche, ma femme a adoré sa salade mozzarella et tomates. La bière était excellente.
Super cadre face à la mer... Apéro cocktail, tapas excellents ! Cabillaud cuisson parfaite.. Produits frais... La glace incroyable ! Le respect des papilles, une vraie boule de glace au chocolat (artisannale) , comme il est rare d en deguster.. MERCI
Nous avons découvert ce restaurant de plage sur les conseils d'amis. Très bon établissement avec un personnel agréable. Nous avons très bien mangé, nous reviendrons !
En a perdu par rapport aux autres années Tarifs en hausse et quantité en moins Le risotto au poulpe est une catastrophe Service moyen heureusement serveuse sympa !!!
