I am delighted to report that we had a great meal at Les Trois Ponts. We have had a house in Ceret for over ten years and have been to most of the restaurants over the years. To be honest there are some good restaurants but most are pretty mediocre - with boring, unchanging menus of uninspiring, pre-prepared tourist fare. This restaurant could not be more different. It serves local ingredients freshly prepared, brilliantly cooked and served with passion by the lovely couple who run the place. It really did restore my faith in the best of French cuisine and I cannot recommend it highly enoughThe restaurant rightly has a fairly small selection of dishes and each was magnificent. We are a family of 5 with teenage children and the children really enjoyed it so the limited selection was not a problem at all. The mussels were probably the best I have ever eaten. I do not know how this was done but they were plump, succulent and a taste sensation. The Boudin Noir with cherries sourced from a Ceret farmer was a delight. We would really recommend it.
