We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) and stayed at Hotel Spa Les Violettes for 2 nights during our visit to Europa-Park. After the crazy excitement at Europa-Park, it was a treat to sleep in tranquil surroundings. What most stands out to us was the extra effort that the friendly restaurant staff took to cater for our vegetarian diets. The food was very delicious. Thank you so much. For a four star it was extremely disappointing. We came for a day at the spa in August, if we had known we would have gone elsewhere. There was already no basket in my locker, I had to go back to reception on purpose to ask for one. The jacuzzi outside is nice but way too hot (especially since it was over thirty degrees), impossible to lower the temperature because you need a code that we don't have, as a result we couldn't stay there for more than ten minutes. We wanted to test the waterbed, it was already occupied by people who stayed there for more than two hours, no one to tell them to give way to other customers. Dirty manor room, hair stuck to the tiles, bedbugs in the curtain. Bedbugs present from the hotel reception to the chandelier. Dirty dishes. Upon arrival, problems with the reservation: 2 rooms reserved of the same category ultimately one room out of the 2 supposedly upgraded but without asking our opinion. We find ourselves separated from friends who accompany us, who end up in a room at the same price. Upgrading is a good excuse to ease the pain of forgetting a reservation. The location is ideal in the middle of nature. The staff was generally good. The spa is pretty good too. The modeling was perfect. Too bad to have non-slip mats everywhere in the spa, it takes away from the charm of the place. As for the room... a shame... traditional does not mean dilapidated! The floor is sticky, the condition of the walls, the dirty mattress... But above all the smell of the room which really doesn't make you want to go in there, let alone sleep there. The decor is sorely lacking in freshness. Cobwebs, electric cable with a socket, the front door that blocks, the dilapidated furniture... Situé dans une petite vallée boisée avec une vue dégagée et un environnement calme. Nous y sommes allés principalement pour le spa et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Plusieurs saunas, hammams et jacuzzi. Une grande piscine donnant sur l'extérieur et de nombreux espaces de repos. D'autre part, nous avons été très déçus par la chambre (supérieure romantique) qui, bien que grande et équipée d'un balcon, manque complètement de charme avec des meubles périmés et un décor inexistant. Très propre. Petit déjeuner trop cher pour l'offre. Excellent restaurant. Prix de décembre trop élevé pour le service. Même pas un biscuit dans la chambre cette fois de Noël. Welcome with a smile, clear explanations on how the hotel works. Magnificent spa, pool water temperature at the best, not cold! There are enough deckchairs and enough sauna rooms etc to disperse the residents. The classic romantic room is spacious, clean, large bathroom and separate toilet. At 6 p.m. we decide to go to the bar to drink a cocktail and a little surprise we are offered tapas to accompany our drink at no extra charge. Restaurant: refined cuisine, good products, excellent meals, practical drinks included formula and numerous choices of wines. Breakfast: diverse and quality products. I am there and would like to stay there. A universe apart, a dream complex. The room was beautiful, tidy, practical and clean. The staff always at your disposal. The friendly and smiling servers took great care of us. Cooking, and to say that we are picky, my partner is a former cook. Everything was sublime. Each dish was unique, filled with a thousand flavors, beautifully presented, we enjoyed ourselves. To be redone urgently! Rooms: Clean, spacious, clean Safety: In the top! Food drinks: A crazy choice!

The reputation of the establishment is no longer up to par... the services are not up to par. Is it really a 4 star? The staff is not very welcoming and smiling. By consulting the reviews (after the fact), we are not the first to note these negative points. It is a shame that these are not taken into consideration. Good restaurant but nothing more. Gourmet spa day for lovers, everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived, everything was well explained, smiling and attentive staff, great 3-course lunch, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, salt cave... in short, a day that we will not forget!!! Séjour presque parfait. Chambre avec jacuzzi privé parfait sauf pour l'insonorisation nous avons eu droit à tous les effets sonores des chambres voisines. Dommages en fonction du prix.
