L'escale des saveurs

Giselle - the cook - is a very talented and super friendly person. The waitress who was serving us was very attentive and friendly, too. We had vegetarian meal and I was pleasantly surprised to see many interesting small dishes on my plate which in total made a really big and delicious meal. The wine was great, too. It was lovely to sit outside, the candles and music in the background made a very cosy atmosphere. When it got cooler we were given blankets to wrap up if we stayed outside. Nice gesture. I really liked the place during my visit in Dordogne, and I definitely recommend. Thank you.

We noticed this restaurant on a walk out of town on our first evening and decided to return the next day. We sat outside although inside seating is available and were able to eat without booking. Friendly service and an excellent choice of dishes which looks like it changes every day. We had the cous cous royal at 15 euros which included a range of succulent meat and vegetables beautifully cooked with a plate of fluffy couscous - delicious! A tranquil end to the day and highly recommended for a visit.

Nous avons pris la formule escale qui était tout à fait correcte. La serveuse est très sympathique. Le service est rapide, voire un peu trop rapide. Nous avons également vécu cette expérience dans d'autres endroits de la ville. Le plat principal était déjà apporté à notre table alors que nous avions à peine fini l'entrée. Bon prix/qualité. Nourriture un peu meilleure que la moyenne.

We were customers of this restaurant tonight.We had decided to seek something different from the Dordonge Bistrot meal and thought by way of review we might find it at this restaurant. WE WERE SADLY DISAPPOINTED.Our meals had almost no culinary input, even what we were presented with did not represent value for money. Discard this restaurant if you want to enjoy an evening meal

Deux d'entre nous ont partagé une délicieuse assiette de charcuterie et une salade verte. Service amical. Nous nous sommes assis sur la terrasse mais l'intérieur a l'air très agréable. Parking gratuit.
