L'escalet - Réserver une table

Most restaurants on seaside in this area are all the same, reasonable avearge quality... this is far better without being too expensive. If you like fish, you get very good quality, well cooked and well presented, large portions... If you go on pizza , here you...get an almost perfect Italian pizza (and not a local version like in most places around). I have not tried meat, but what I saw and smell on sorrounding tables seems OK... Service is good, friendly but quite slow... food is good, you must not be in a hurry here... and you are on the old port, lots of things to see while waiting. Last but not least, reasonable prices... there are many cheaper places around, but here you get real valu...

a short business trip and they have a large selection in la ciotat along the picturesque harbour front. l’escalet is just a short walk from the best western hotel and worth a visit. la burrata (small part) was the choice of the starter for both...night with linguini aux gambas and thon rouge as the choice for main dishes, both excellent, although the thunfisch just won over. house wine was tasteful and all employees most pleasant.

One of the many restaurant on the port of La Ciotat. But additionally to the usual fish, more or less the same in all these restaurants, here you can find a true Italian pizza, good and cooked with wood fire (as it should be! . An...exception in France. Then the service is very good, and the place is very pleasant also in a cold winter evening.

This is my favorite pizzeria in LaCiotat and the pizza is made the proper way in a woodfire oven! They also have other dishes and good salads. Definitely a place that should not be missed.

great eating, friendly staff, beautiful location and cozy ambiente! pet friendly and much sharpener! children would love it if they were with me!
