My son ordered the Moule Frites and when it arrived, it looked good until you came past the upper level of the shells and everything was frozen. And if I'm freezing, I mean that ice still sticks to the shells (see photo). We pointed out to our server that, in my opinion, could be the owner that the shells were frozen. She looked stunned and returned the pot back to the kitchen. About 10 minutes later she returned the pot, thermonuclear hot. So hot that she couldn't even open the lid... so what does she do? She asked for the napkins on our rounds to open the lid. No excuse and still charged for the plate of frozen shells. Escoffier rolls in his grave.
