L'Estaminet des meix

We stopped by Puligny-Montrachet and were lucky to get a table at this gem on the square. The service was extremely hospitable and the meal outstanding. We enjoyed a superb local wine at a very reasonable 22 Euro (one of the cheaper options). We chose the menu option including escargots, boeuf bourguignon, cheese selection and creme brulee. What a fantastic meal at a very affordable price. A vibey restaurant with top service, brilliant cuisine and no snobbery. Don't miss it!

Stopped by for dinner and the place was jumping, mostly locals at the bar enjoying a few glasses of wine.We joined in, settled at a table under the covred canopy overlooking the square. Food wine service, all were good... so was the price..Nothing pretentious or touristy; just a pleasant place to sample local food and wine. What more could you want ?

We came here for a simple dinner after a 3 star lunch at Lameloise earlier in the day.4 courses, snails/Jambon persilee Beef Burg. Cheese then creme brulee. All superb.Amazing value €19If you know your wines there aee some absolute rubies in the dust on the list, red and white. Ovrerall amazing quality and value

In the centre of this tiny village L'Estaminet is a perfect example of what a restaurant should be.... quality service, high cleanliness, great local cuisine. Visited here three times in our fortnights holiday, they remember you! Excellent value wines too. We'll be back!

Typical French Bistro. Have the Eggs Munierre (sp?) with the cheese. Two weeks in France and this was one of the best things I ordered.
