This was a very disappointing lunch during our two week stay in the region. It lacked any atmosphere and the server was a tad on the surly side. We asked if we could sit outside since the weather was glorious but this request was turned down because there were apparently no free tables, although I counted several that were never taken. The food was nothing special, didn’t even come up to e standard we have at home, the tomatoes in my husband’s starter were just roughly chopped and not that well arranged. Malheureusement, l'un des pires dîners que nous ayons eu. La nourriture était incroyablement fade, trop cuite et pas vraiment fraîche. Les serveurs étaient gentils et faisaient de leur mieux étant donné le manque apparent de formation et de nouveauté au travail. Qui sait ce qui s'est passé dans la cuisine. La nourriture a mis une éternité à arriver. Le vin était bon :
Tellement décevant. Nous voyageons à travers l’Europe depuis 3 semaines et c’était le pire repas que nous ayons eu. Le veau et le poisson étaient tous deux trop cuits, la sauce avait le goût de farine et d'eau mélangées sans saveur ni assaisonnement. Les accompagnements de nos dîners étaient fades et insipides. Le service était bon.
This is our favourite restaurant if the weather is inclement, as it sits on a main road it has no view, but what it does have is a modern interior, where the tables are not to close together, with great service and great food, what more do you want on a rainy afternoon
