L'Étoile des Mers

Found this place via TripAdvisor whilst visiting Deauville and decided to try it for lunch after reading the glowing reviews. We were a group of 4 and lucky enough to get a table without booking - it's a small fishmonger/restaurant combo and the place filled up really quickly after we sat down, so I would recommend reserving in advance if you want to make sure you get a table.We went for the seafood platters and though they had run our of some bits and bobs (we went on a bank holiday Monday), they offered some alternatives and we had a great meal. Everything was delicious and I felt it was very reasonably priced compared to seafood platters we saw offered at other restaurants.If you like seafood, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The concept is a fish market, and also a restaurant. You will eat the best fish of the Atlantic Ocean French coast, Fish Saint Pierre, Le Lot, and excellent Lobster. Excellent option in Deuville. Anything can be more fresh than what you get there... Price ratio very good also

The restaurant is located in a fishery. The food is prepared in front of you, in a small open kitchen. We had the big Etoile platter, with a chilled Pouilly Fumé white wine. A little expensive but worthwhile. Better than the many tourist traps in the neighborhood.

Not too bad, even if the chef clearly works mainly with frozen food.__We had the €11.50 mussels (good, even if nothing was out of this world) with fries

I seemed to be the only on in my party who had an ok experience hereOur tour director and hotel recommended this restaurant for a large group.
