I have visited this restaurant a few times and usually have had a lovely experience, but today was a letdown. My glass had black marks on it, which they promptly replaced. The soup was not to my taste, as it was too thick and gloopy. Additionally, we were not informed about the specials. Usually, if you express dissatisfaction, there is some sort of acknowledgement or compensation, but this time, nothing was done and we paid full price. I can understand variations in taste, but it was the lack of attention to detail that disappointed me. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere as a 1 out of 5.
I stopped by for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised by this charming restaurant. The owner, Lorraine, was very enthusiastic and my toasted Mediterranean sandwich was delicious. My only suggestion would be to include a small salad garnish as a standard instead of having to request it as an add-on. The venue was beautiful, the staff couldn't have done more, food was delicious, First time there, it was at a private booking .for my daughter's baby shower, couldn't have found a more lovely venue, well worth experiencing, thank you to all the staff. Service: Dine in Price per person: £30–40

The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and offers a great menu. The service was friendly and attentive. The only downside was that it was a bit cool inside. I would definitely consider returning in the summer. Overall ratings: Food 4/5, Service 5/5, Atmosphere 4/5.
