Level 2 At The Windrift

We reserved a table for 9. Got there was we were sat at two tables next to each other. We moved the tables together (we were against a two walls, not center tables) and the manager came over and told us “we don’t do this here” and made us separate the tables for “traffic reasons” and “because they were two different sections with two different servers” he was very rude about it well, ended up with 1 server anyway…. 1st table got water, 2nd table didn’t….so we had to ask for water Loud music at bar and acoustics in dining room terrible so hard to hear each other. Gorgeous views. Subpar and expensive drinks (at least they were strong). Awful food. Ordered fries and tenders. No dipping sauce. Horrible! Bar tender was not born to work serving drinks. Very underwhelming experience. And I do love the hotel Icona and their service but looks like they couldn’t bring yet their quality to Windrift. I hope they improve service and food as I would love to go there more often.

This is a fantastic place to visit! The drinks at the bar are very generously poured. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, filled with a lot of attractive people, but thankfully, it doesn’t feel like a beauty contest. We were able to enjoy an incredible band while we were there. Overall, it was a wonderful night out. I highly recommend it!

If you enjoy dining in a politically charged atmosphere, this is the place for you. It seems that the staff at Icona has no reservations when it comes to sharing their political views, which can be quite overwhelming. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the experience I was looking for.
