we were there on Christmas day for dinner. While all the other restaurants in the Union Square area of San Francisco were filled to capacity, this was only half full. Perhaps because of the $85. prix fixe menu for the holiday. Was a bit pricey for the 3 course meals (with wine pairings $125! But for a Christmas celebration in The City, we were happy.
The restaurant is in the Lobby of the Marriott. Not busy at all the night we had dinner there so a quiet dinner. The food cocktails were fine, nothing to get excited about. The service though was great! Had a wonderful waitress who was pleasant and efficient. If you need a quick meal while staying here, this might fit the bill.
They are clearly understaffed so orders take a while and water refllls. etc must be asked for.Food was good but not exceptional. Modern minimalist decor is pleasant ad unless there is a nosiy crowd at bar noise level in restaurant was fine.
Menu was limited. Restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. Restaurant is next to hotel check in but the soup of the day was fabulous. Steak and fries great. The panna cotta was fabulous Réservez une table maintenant
Good staff.. It’s a hotel restaurant so the food is just okay But the staff from check in to servers are all great
Not busy so we were really taken care of. Fantastic shrimp salad. service was excellent. Nice venue and relaxing.
Very good service, great way to spend time on rainy night before play at SF Playhouse. Great location for this.
