Lezizz Restaurant

We are again at this gem of an eatery, a Kurdish restaurant and if you have not experienced this style of cooking and ingreients please do as they are delicious. We especially like the slow cooked meals; the salads are yummy and I recommend for the brain pomegramet juice, a common feature of this style of cooking. Remember though that it is not licensed so you bring your own wine. And the decor, interesting photos etc of Kurdish culture is upgraded and most intersting. The mains we ordered came from the bbq mains menu. The food was tasty and the portion size was good, however I would have ordered a salad if I had known the salad described on the menu was a halved grilled tomato. The flavours were good though.By far the best part of the meal was the selection of home made icecream. I particularly loved the sour cherry ice cream and the rose petal ice cream. Next time, I will order from the other mains menu and not the bbq. Overall, such a good meal.

With some great friends who had previously eaten at this restaurant we visited. What a great restaurant. The food was full of flavour, fresh and quite frankly magnificent. The young man who was the waiter was very pleasant, could not do enough for us. Do yourself a favour, have the banquet, there is plenty of food, and make sure you keep some room for the beautiful ice cream for dessert.

A small simple family restaurant?.....but the food is wonderful. All the tastes or Persia very reasonably priced. A complimentary bowl of spicy lentil soup gives promise of what is to come. Dont go past the Jewelled rice....pomegranate and raisins. Generous serves and no corkage.
