I had decided to try this place following a recommendation from a vegetarian group on Facebook. There was supposed to be this incredible vegan "poutine" on the menu with amazing vegan cheese. There was, but it was not as amazing as I was expecting. The "cheese" was mostly little squares spread across the plate. Was I supposed to ask for a specific vegan cheese? I don't know. The vegetarian burger was very good, but probably not vegan...We arrived at 5:40 p.m., found a table on the terrace and received our plates 45 minutes later! The waiter was very nice and friendly and explained everyone arrived at the same time. Nonetheless, because it took so long to receive our plates and to pay the bil...

I was taken to this restaurant for my birthday and was very disappointed. I do not think I will be going back. The waiter took forever to come and ask what we wanted to drink. Our cocktails were way too strong and not enjoyable at all. It took a very long time before we got our food, we even saw the staff eating and fooling around in back. My veggie burger wasn't good at all. It was mushy and bland. The dishes my friends took were all very good though! The poutine Tao was very original and good! To conclude, they refused to bring a dessert and for us to sing happy birthday :( but the fried cookie dough we took was very good. All in all, good food but horrible service.

Visited for a family birthday with 3 others on a Saturday evening. The place was moderately busy and the music was really bad and did not match the decor at all. I ordered the 2l house lager for $7 which is actually a real bargain because it is a decent quality. For food I got the "Poke Bowl" for $16 and paid $3 extra for mushrooms. I was surprised how tasty and filling it was. Unfortunately this was ruined by moody and uninterested service. Its pretty average for the price overall.

we went for the vegan **** mary’s that another poster showed that they had some years back and were disappointed to learn after we arrived that they had only **** zeasors (clamato juice instead of tomato juice). we enjoyed the poutins very much. we also enjoyed the flower flower wing and the unchicken sandwich. Although we hoped we have **** marys, they had other good drinks. updated by previous review on 2022-09-04 Réservez une table maintenant

In this quirky, streamlined Victorian décor, I was pleasantly surprised to see several vegetarian options on the dinner and brunch menus. If you are looking to eat away from the touristic circuit, this may well be worth the detour! For brunch lovers, please note that L'Gros luxe only opens at 11 am on Saturday and Sunday.

I ordered a vegan burrito hoping that it would have a decent amount of beans in it to make it a good portion of protein. I was disapointed with the burrito because it was small and it barely had beans in it, it was mostly rice with sauce.

Really enjoyed my experience here. The place itself looks great and was pleased with all the veggie/vegan options on the menu. Everything is really cheap but some of the portions are on the smaller side. Would definitely go back! Réservez une table maintenant

came all the way from toronto and ensured that they eat twice in this restaurant. Eating is amazing with a large vegan menu and service is even better! try the nachos and make their own vegan **** mary with a veggie slider above!
