L'hotel de Ville - Réserver une table

We had 2 meals at this unpretentious restaurant - excellent home-made food, big portions, served by the owner herself, a lady who waits on all the tables very quickly and efficiently. Her husband does all the cooking himself. There are only 3 starters and 3 main courses to choose from (hence the 10 euros price tag), but everything we chose was simply delicious. Desserts were superb, in particular the charlotte aux fruits rouges, the best charlotte I have ever eaten.If you like home made French food and do not want to spend a fortune, this is the place to visit! Full of locals, which is always a good sign.

We arrived in the most torrential rain and settled down inside this warm and welcoming space. Ours was the only English voice in this absolutely typical bistro and what fantastic value the 12 Euro lunch menu proved to be. A welcome glass of rose was followed by a carafe with lunch and after pate and seafood pasta we both settled down to guinea fowl in a delicious cream and cider sauce with a huge bowl of chips. We were left the plate of cheese and our jaws dropped at the sight of the huge deserts on offer which would have added another Euro to our bill!

On a cold December noon we were greeted in this small cozy restaurant with a free 'Kir'. The restaurant was nice and warm and there was already a lively cozy atmosphere. The menu is very simple. We chose to start a salad, it was beautifully fresh and enormous! Then we chose very delicate duck with chips and finished with a generous portion of ice cream with homemade butterscotch and cream. Then a Tisane and we needed nothing else all day!!! Book early for your Christmas special it looks excellent!!

Nous avons visité ce restaurant merveilleusement sans prétention à quatre reprises. La nourriture est fraîche, bien cuisinée et très copieuse. Il est plein de locaux, toujours un bon signe et à 13 euros pour un menu 4 plats, on ne peut pas se plaindre. Nous avons essayé tous les restaurants lors de notre séjour de 10 nuits, la plupart sont très bons, mais celui-ci est au top. Tu vas nous manquer.

Une fois trouvé, nous avons dû y retourner tous les jours. Très sympathique et imprévisible. En raison de notre français limité, le propriétaire/serveur a fait différents bruits d'animaux pour nous aider à choisir dans le menu. Tous les produits frais, bien cuisinés et copieux. Je ne saurais trop le recommander ! À demain.
