L'Huitre et la Vigne

Ma femme et moi sommes venus ici pour notre lune de miel. Au premier coup d'œil, on pourrait croire qu'il s'agit d'une maison classique, mais en arrivant au coin de la rue, nous avons été accueillis par une belle terrasse extérieure avec vue sur leur propre vignoble. Les vues étaient magnifiques et nous avons eu le bonus supplémentaire d'être là pour le coucher de soleil. La passion de Sophie transparaissait malgré la barrière linguistique et le séjour était chaleureux et convivial. Ils ont même mis une couverture sur ma femme quand la soirée est devenue fraîche. La nourriture était délicieusement fraîche et nous avons essayé divers plats. Son vin fait maison était parfait pour le repas, alo...

My wife and I came here for our a meal on our honeymoon. At first glance it appears we are approaching a farm house but when you walk around the corner you are greeted by a beautiful outside dining area overlooking their own vineyard. The views were gorgeous and we had the added bonus of being there for sunset. Sophie's passion came through despite a language barrier and the stay was warm and friendly. She even placed blankets over my wife when the evening got chilly. The food was beautifully fresh and we tried several dishes between us. Their home made wine was perfect for the meal so we bought 6 bottles!! Such fantastic hosts and lovely people. We would love to go back and recommend anyone...

Nous adorons y aller, surtout pour manger, l'emplacement au milieu des vignes, si beau, les propriétaires sont si amicaux et professionnels et le vin qu'ils font est excellent ! De plus, nous pouvons en ramener chez nous des moustiques, des huîtres, etc. Vraiment fantastique pour tout le monde. Un de nos restaurants préférés dans le Gard. Helena Hartman, Suisse.

This place sounded intriguing - an open air restaurant specialising in seafood set amidst the vines. Unfortunately the place failed to live up to its romantic description - it was expensive, slow (and I mean slow by french standards - we are not "eat in 30 minutes americans" - and mediocre. There are many better choices in the area for the same or less money.

this place sounded in an open restaurant specializing in seafood, in the midst of the rebs. Unfortunately, the place does not have to live to its romantic description, it was expensive, slow (and I mean slowly through French standards we are not minutes American and mediocre eating. there are many better choices in the opposite for the same or less money.

We love to go there, particular for the food, the location in the Middle of the vines, so beautiful, the owners are so kind and professional and the wine they make its excellent!Also, we can go and take home shellfish , oyster etc.Really fantastic to go for any occasions.One of our favorite restaurants in the Gard.Helena Hartman, Switzerlans

Un bel endroit au milieu des vignobles ! Excellent avec les enfants, il est permis de se rendre en cuisine et le chef joue à cache-cache avec eux. La nourriture est excellente également, avec le meilleur ketchup fait maison et les meilleures frites du monde.

Awsome place just in the middle of vinyards! Excellent with children, they are allowed to enter the kitchen and the "Chef" plays hide and seek with them himself. Great food as well, best home made ketchup and frensh fries on earth. Thanks a lot!!
