delicious great value food in this restaurant, which is an old hotel here in billingham. the owner told me they had the restaurant 50 years! we went on the end of lunch on Saturday and there were 4 other tables so there was a nice relaxed ambiente. the lunch menu is incredibly valuable, 3 courses for 6.50 mum dad had suppe of the day (minestrone with broth roll,) bark meat with sweet, broken garne and chips, ice and pineapple. I had a main from the normal menu peking bark (not coming broken / crispy) with chips. we had tea for drinks. we were really looked around and the final bill was extremely reasonable. really recommend to come for a casual weekend lunch and support this local facility
Worst service ever. Waited an hour for starter then over 30 mins for main. Staff couldn't care less.. more interested chatting to each other than taking empty plates/bottles away or bringing food out. Hubby had to send his meal back it was so overcooked then got questioned by one of the cooks who wasnt happy. Asked for two portions of prawn crackers.. only received one but they tried to charge for two. They obviously prioritise the takeaway orders over dine in. Used to be nice in its day. Will not return. I recently had lunch at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The price per person was between £10-20, which I found to be very reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would give the food a rating of 5 as it was delicious and well-prepared. The service was also excellent, receiving a score of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, earning a rating of 4. Overall, I would highly recommend dining at this restaurant for a great lunch experience.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was always served hot and presented nicely, and the prices were fair. I would highly recommend it for a dinner out. The quality of the food and service was top-notch. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
The owner/manager is the most unpleasant person I have ever encountered. They need to learn how to treat both customers and staff. I used to visit this restaurant frequently, but I will not be going back. Rating: Food 4, Service 3, Atmosphere 1.

best Chinese I've been there before. it's a shame they don't deliver that they would make a fortune. I would recommend hot and acid soupe and chili ripen and hs fu yung
