Lickety Split Southern Kitchen

Visiting overnight near airport and googled Soul food near me , sine I was excited to try southern food, in the south . I chose this restaurant and OMG did they NOT disappoint . I ordered : Mac and cheese, cabbage, bbq TENDER brisket, fresh broccoli, honey chicken wings, and peach cobbler . Everything was VERY good, not too salty and the mango lemonade was spot on and NOT syrupy sweet either. Normally, I 'm a healthy eater and had an extremely stressful travel to ATL, so this was THE PERFECT COMFORT FOOD to make up for all the #uckery I encountered getting to GA. My Sisters and i visited this restaurant today for lunch. We ordered ribs, fried/grilled catfish, fried/grilled pork chops, fried chicken, mac n cheese, okra, yams, dressing, deviled eggs, and strawberry banana pudding! EVERYTHING was amazing and delicious! We had the pleasure of dining at the bar with our Bartender/Server Yolanda; she was very accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and a kind soul ; She made sure we were good and checked on us regularly! I went to Lickety Split on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The establishment was clean and quaint and there was plenty of seating even though they were quite busy. The menu items were easy and clear and I thoroughly enjoyed what I had. It was HOT in there but that had to be because it was hot outside, the windows were floor to ceiling and the people were bustling through. Let's crank up the AC next time! Overall I'd visit again!

Our friends brought us here and raved about the food. We decided to try it. Everything we tried was absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was excellent as well. Only complaint, it was extremely hot inside the restaurant. Not sure if the air conditioner wasn’t working. Hey, just ordered from Lickety Split restaurant, sweet Thai chili wings with homestyle fries, a lemon drop martini it was the bar Jay made that lemon drop and that chef woo!!!
