Lido's Italian Foods

This place feels like a blast from the past, remaining almost unchanged over the years. It’s just like I remember from my childhood in the 90s, and my mother says it hasn’t changed since her high school days with her parents. The food is reliable and the portions are generous. The salad dressing is outstanding, and you can even take some home in a wine bottle if you enjoy it. Everything here is simple, but in the best possible way. The selection of alcohol leaves much to be desired, but it still maintains a classic feel. I plan to keep coming here as long as it remains open.

Lido's offers fantastic food at a great price—something not many restaurants can still boast about. They have a long-standing tradition, and it seems they intend to keep it that way. Their pizza, spaghetti, and various pasta dishes are definitely standout options. The interior can be a bit dark for my taste, but the excellent service ensures your food arrives quickly. Parking is generally manageable. We love Lido's and often drive over from Jamul whenever we crave their delectable Italian cuisine.

I've been going to Lidos for almost 20 years. One of my favorite places to Dine Out. The mushroom ravioli in the garlic butter sauce and one side of the meatballs in meat sauce is my access. Bomb! Can't go wrong. You will not find it in the menu because it is a special one. Anndddd....they are amazing!

Hadn't been here in years but used to come quite often. Finally went back and the food was good as always. Maybe not as good as I remember but definitely better than most Italian places. Been around a very long time so they must be doing most things right. ? Réservez une table maintenant

Lidos is an excellent spot for delicious pizza. I ordered two pizzas: the Works and a Veggie. I really enjoyed them, but there were quite a few black olives, which was a bit overwhelming. Overall, it was a great experience!

You won’t find a more authentic red sauce anywhere in the U.S.! I highly recommend trying the Lasagna, Tortellini, Ribs, or the whole chicken – there are just too many amazing dishes to choose from!
