Setting: Pm on a Monday evening. Only three tables in the dinning room couples and single table) and two servers for both patio and dining room. Observation: Everything happened too slow but interesting that everyone was required to wear masks when away...from table except kitchen staff were free to walk around bar area without masks. (Simply wrong) Food: Came out cold one plate was totally different to what was ordered. Server was too busy focused on the one single table. Attitude: When pointed out the inadequate level of service she suggested take out may be a better option. Is this the expected new normal or do hiring practices new to be reviewed/modified?
Went with my sister and niece who is they were very accommodating to the fact that we had a stroller. Our server was very knowledgeable and described each item that we ordered for us. His name was Clay. We had very friendly service and...all the dishes were great. we had chips, shrimp, octopus salad and jackfruit tacos. All the flavours were well thought out and just overall a great experience. For drinks we tried Jupiter, the last dance and margaritas. Delicious and creative! We both have literally nothing to complain about on anything will be back.
We went in on a Thursday night and thought the Chef’s choice sounded good. pp including a glass of wine or beer and dessert. The meal was fabulous and plentiful. A very good selection of treats the mussels were excellent in a cream...sauce. A pasta dish and fried parsnips unique and very tasty. Then a wonderful salad with flank steak and mashed potatoes. We were so full but managed to eat a delicious warm dessert with ice cream. Excellent value
We visited at lunchtime on a Sunday. We had made a reservation but waited to be seated. Our service was slow. Coffee took a while, we were told to dig to the bottom of the sugar for white cubes and hot sauce came in a...huge new bottle that was then whisked away. Despite the service, all of our meals were delicious. Our table ate the avocado toast, hangover eggs benny and double cheese burger. Go for the great food, not for server attention.

We were in Newmarket for just one night and had a wonderful meal out on the patio at Lil' Brew Hops on the Main Street in the old section of Newmarket. We ordered the sharing plates and everything we tried was really tasty. Our server...was attentive, although perhaps a little too chatty (she was about to move out west and made sure everyone knew all about it). The weather was perfect that evening, so the patio was very popular.
This is just one of those places that has the “feel” with interesting selections, small menu but not limited if that makes sense. Downtown Newmarket has/is really growing up the selection of establishments is raising the bar for quality venues. It can be very busy...during peak dinner hours try a little later time and grab a beverage at another venue to break up the evening.
Nice little bar on Main St to grab a bite and pint! Staff are friendly and they have many types of beer on tap. Find myself often popping in to meet up with friends or see who is hanging out. Sort of a local Cheers'...type place. Always friendly and lively. Of you're in the neighborhood be sure to stop by for a pint!
Everything was fine until we looked at the menu. The selections seem to be straight from the mad chef's Nightmare on Elm Street. Every dish is politically correct and over-designed. We left before ordering and went to its sister restaurant next door.

Took friends here and it was great. The atmosphere is great and the tapas is very good. Great dishes that were recommended by the server. Good selection of wine and beer.
This place has an awesome array of drinks and a varied and extensive menu. You will enjoy this restaurant just give it a chance.
